Don’t quit being a righteous man

Ezekiel 33: 12

“Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.”

This verse tells how God behaves to ex-righteous man and ex-wicked man. It directly collapses all human doctrine to depend their salvation, their future, heaven and hell on by counting their goodnesses and badnesses. If they did goodnesses majorily, they will enter the heaven, and vice versa. That opinion shares different oppinion with God. Based on the verse above, it’s very possible that the wicked man crucified together with Jesus was promised to stay in Paradise after believing that he could depend his destiny on Him.
