Once upon a time, there was a little girl lived in a little poor remote village with her parents and two naughty brothers. At that time there was no school in the village for children to get formal education. The nearest school to them was 10 miles away. Somehow, admist poverty and exclusion from the outside world, these parents awared that the only way out from their poverty was through formal education.
Amazingly these children, though some were naugthy, were smart enough to be obedient to their parents' wisdom of wanting them to enroll in the school. For those who have relatives in the villages near the school were fortunate enough to have a place to stay during the school days.
Pity on this poor tiny girl and her two little brothers for they had to walk 20 miles each schooling day in order to attend classes as they did not have any relative in any of the villages near to the school. 40 years later this trio become a living legend to their folks. If I have a chance to meet them, the only question that I really want to know the answer is: 'what really made them to be so resilient to the challenges of their life hardship and the dangers of the forest that they still kept on going to school'.
The stories of this little trio become one of this, yet to be developed, village elders' and olders' favourite motivational story to their youngsters. It was said that, at one terriffying dawn, on their half way to school, a pack of wolves howling at them at a very near distance by ears. Led by the older brother and guided by the wisdom of their parents, they climbed up the nearest tree. They climbed up as high as they could. In a matter of few seconds after they secured their position, the pack was right below them, howling, scratching the tree n 'grrrrrring...' at them.
The light from the full moon showed how terrific the attack was. The trio was really terrified. They shivered and cried. In the midst of this horrible tense, the tiny girl suggested to her brothers to pray together. In their cry, while their body trembling and shivering, they prayed to God together. While they were praying, suddenly a very bright light from the sky hurling like lighthning toward the pack. Right at that moment, the pack ran away and never be heard or seen again. Exactly, at the moment the pack ran away, a feeling of warmth and strength occupied the trio as if someone was hugging them closely. From that moment this becomes their courage, hope and strength.
